Redeeming codes are a perfect way to get freebies like clothes and furniture in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and they can go a long way in cutting down some of the time spent needing to craft everything yourself.
While the update that introduced the weekly DreamSnaps competition has made it so that getting free rewards to spend and place in your Valley has never been simpler, nothing is quite as quick as pasting in some codes.

How to redeem codes in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Codes can be redeemed right from the outset in Disney Dreamlight Valley, so if you’re just jumping into the game for the first time, here’s how to get them:
- First, bring up the ‘Settings‘ menu by pressing the following button of your platform of choice:
- PC: ‘Esc’
- Nintendo Switch: ‘+’
- Xbox or PlayStation: ‘Start’
- On the left-hand side of your screen, you’ll see the ‘Help‘ submenu as shown in the image below – click that
- Once there, you’ll see a box that says ‘Redemption code‘, and it’s here that you’ll need to enter your codes
- Press the ‘Claim’ button once you’ve entered a code in, and if successful, your items will then be sent to the mailbox outside your home to claim when you next pass by.
Remember to enter all of the codes exactly as they’re written, too, because they’re case-sensitive.
