Skipping across the water’s surface like a flat stone with wings, a malolo flying fish escapes the jaws of a hungry bottlenose dolphin Wednesday morning in Kahului Harbor. The dolphin was part of a feeding pod that put on a show in the harbor just minutes before the arrival of the four-masted Japanese training barque Kaiwo Maru.
